Good Friday

Don’t you think it’s a bit odd that we refer to a Friday about shopping as “black,” and a Friday about death as “good.” What’s so “good” about Good Friday? I believe it is this, according to Isaiah:

Surely, he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrow… and with his stripes we are healed.

and because that cadence is quite unsatisfying (and if you know the work, you just wanna hear what’s next)… here’s the next chorus 🙂
